This policy describes the information Platform Pixels collects and how it is used.
Platform Pixels collects analytics about how the game is played, such as the levels played, completion times and where players die, along with a randomly generated identifier for your device, the type of device, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
This information is used to improve the game and to save runs as replays that can be watched and shared. Anyone with a replay’s link can view it.
Your progress, such as your best time and coins on each level, is also kept on the server with a randomly generated key stored on your device (in a browser, a cookie), so it can be restored after the game’s data is cleared.
If you sign in with a game service, such as Game Center, its identifier for you and your name there are stored with your progress, so that your progress can be found from your other devices.
If you subscribe to the mailing list, your email address is stored to send you news about the game. To unsubscribe, write to support@platformpixels.com.
If you send feedback, from the game or the feedback form, your message, your email address and any screenshots or photos you attach go to Platform Pixels’ feedback service, with the game’s version and your device’s system, so that a reply can reach you by email. They are not stored with your progress or your device’s identifier. A photo goes as your device hands it over, with what it holds about itself, such as where it was taken, unless it is too large and the game makes a smaller copy, which holds none of that. The game keeps the address on your device to fill in next time, and forgets it when you delete your data.
If you buy something in the game, or restore a purchase, it is handled by RevenueCat, a service provider. It receives a randomly generated identifier for you, the receipt and purchase history from your app store, and your IP address. On the web, payment is made with Stripe through RevenueCat, so your card details, and the email address your receipt is sent to, go to them and never to this site.
Platform Pixels keeps which purchases you hold and since when, with your progress, and no price, receipt or card details. To have this information deleted, write to support@platformpixels.com.
Platform Pixels runs its own analytics. Third-party service providers, such as its hosting provider, process this information on its behalf. Apple and Google have their own privacy policies governing their app stores.
Crash reports from the game and errors on this site go to Sentry, a service provider, so they can be fixed. They describe what went wrong and on what kind of device; no IP address or player is stored with them.
